@egtsu_sra, i most highly never use rand because- its "random". most of my basses dont use random because i avoid having different outputs you might hear the first and last time and its destructive making each note sound way different and i try to preserve the original phase point or punch from my bass. and in conclusion, use rand when its appropriate -w-
(some presets would have a macro to change the phase... idk which ones they are tho)
also rand amp might get a vaguely similar effect? and then combined with the sample osc or maybe flange/comb/phaser filter maybe you could get something...
